Dance Cover Showcase: Vincent
Could you tell us who you are, where you’re from and why you have chosen this dance cover as your showcase?
I’m Vincent , currently 17 years old. So I am from Sarawak, Malaysia. For my showcase, I chose “I Can’t Stop me – Twice”. It is because this song is so meaningful for me. Besides that, this song was very brainwash lol!

So how long did you have to study the choreography?
For this song “I Can’t Stop Me”, it took me about 4 hours.
How long does it normally take for you to memorize the choreography?
I’m a newbie in dance, so it took me around 4 to 5 hours to memorize a choreography.
What was the most difficult part of the choreography?
If I had to choose, the most difficult part of the choreography is the part that moves forward your leg, while you squat down (22 second mark). It was quite hard for me when I did it the first time.
Were you surprised that the choreography was easy / difficult and why?
The choreography is hard, but fun, because you need to memorize all the moves and also need to make sure all your moves are clean and smooth when you do it. Plus when I dance I need to control my expressions, so that it can match to the choreography. It is quite fun, because dancing let’s me be more confident.
How did you come up with your outfit?
So in fact, I didn’t care so much about the outfit, because I don’t have so many outfits to match with the choreography, but mostly I was following the outfit in the dance practice video.
If you could give one positive message / advice to anyone out there who loves to do K-pop dance covers, what would it be?
So please remember if you want to try a new hobby, not only for K- pop dance covers, you should just do it! You can meet a lot of friends with the same interested things on social media. It is really fun! YOLO!
