K-Pop Fan Interview: Jason
Could you tell us who you are, where you’re from and give us a little description about yourself?
Well, Hii wassup. I’m jason from the Netherlands. I’m 16 year old. I’m a K-pop fanboy (something u don’t see very often). My favorite groups at the moment are: Dreamcatcher and BTS.
So how long are you a K-pop fan and how did you get introduced?
I’ve been a K-pop fan for 3 years. I got introduced by someone at my shool and she let me listen to this K-pop song… Can’t remember which one actually, but when I got home I searched K-pop and the first song I found was “Dope” or “Not Today” by BTS.
Why do you love K-pop and what makes it different compared to other genre’s?
K-pop is different to what people are used to and that makes it so fun. Also the K-pop idols and the K-pop stans are also more open minded to different things which makes it very fun to be a K-pop stan.
If you make K-pop related content could you tell us what you do and why?
I’m planning to go further with my Kpop cover account on instagram called @jae.kcoverz and I’ll be posting singing and dance covers, because it makes me feel good and more confident.
Could you tell us your top 5 K-pop groups (in no particular order):
Dreamcatcher, BTS, BLACKPINK, ITZY and ATEEZ.
Out of those 5, if you had to pick a number 1, who would it be and why?
OOOOHHWWW I think Dreamcatcher, because I love their different rock metal type of songs and their vocals are INSANE!

Yoohyeon (Dreamcatcher), Jimin (BTS), Jennie (BLACKPINK), Yeji (ITZY) and Seonghwa (ATEEZ).
If you had to pick a number 1 bias, who would it be and why?
JENNNIEE, becaus she’s that bad b*tch!
Imagine getting a wish granted, but it has to be K-pop related: could you tell us what your wish would be and why?
Here comes the inner K-boo in me, but i always wanted to be a K-pop idol. To break the barricade of the stereo typical looking K-pop idol.
Let’s spread some love by giving a big shout out. Who would you like to give a shout out to and why?
I want to give a shoutout to BTS, because they taught me how to truly love myself and a shout to a really close friend of mine called Ashanti. I know her for a year, but in that year she’s shown me what true friendship is and that I should be who i want to be and always giving that mommy advice.
And last but not least: if you could change the world with just one positive message (it doesn’t have to be K-pop related), what would it be?
