K-Pop Fan Interview: Marie

Could you tell us who you are, where you’re from and give us a little description about yourself?

Ayo!! My name is Marie. I’m 19 years old and I’m from France! Dance is my passion (especially K-pop dance!) since 4 years now and I really want to share my passion through my videos on social media.

So how long are you a K-pop fan and how did you get introduced?

I discovered K-pop thanks to my friends who were K-pop fans since a longer time as me and one day they told me to listen to Exo and since that day: I really loved K-pop!

Why do you love K-pop and what makes it different compared to other genre’s?

Maybe the originality? Like, for example in the K-pop music videos, we can see all of the work and effort that they make! Also, we see that they worked a lot on visuals, voices, dance and i think that’s the difference with the other genres.

If you make K-pop related content could you tell us what you do and why?

K-pop dance cover for sure, because that’s what I like the most!

Could you tell us your top 5 K-pop groups (in no particular order):

Seventeen, Pentagon, Sf9, Victon and Cix.

Out of those 5, if you had to pick a number 1, who would it be and why?

That’s so hard, but maybe I will choose Seventeen! After Exo, Seventeen was the first group I fell in love with. Also, their choreos, voices, visuals are everything to me and I love them so much!

Who’s your bias. Could you tell us your top 5 (in no particular order):

Hoshi (Seventeen), Kino (Pentagon), Taeyang (SF9),  Sejun (Victon) and Seunghun (Cix).

If you had to pick a number 1 bias, who would it be and why?

That’s so hard, but I pick.. Hoshi (Seventeen)! Because he is so good at everything and since he’s one of my dance inspirations with Rocky from Astro, I think I have to choose him!

Imagine getting a wish granted, but it has to be K-pop related: could you tell us what your wish would be and why?

Dancing with a lot of K-pop groups! Since I love watching dance practices, lives or a lot of stuffs like that. The more I see idols dance, the more I really want to dance with them.

Let’s spread some love by giving a big shout out. Who would you like to give a shout out to and why?

To all K-pop idols, because they work a lot. They all have to be happy and deserve a lot of attention.

And last but not least: if you could change the world with just one positive message (it doesn’t have to be K-pop related), what would it be?

We just have to live our lives without thinking too much and just do what we want to do, because life is too short and we don’t have time to regret.
